Get the Look: Joey King
Ok, how fun is this look?! Joey King killed it during her press for her movie Slender Man, and I loved it so much I had to share.
Here’s the Get The Look video, but there’s a step-by-step guide and product list below!!
GET THE LOOK:
Cover the lid with Makeup Forever Aqua Matic Eye Shadow. I used ME 80.
Go over that with MAC Expensive Pink eye shadow.
I LOOOOVE Troy Surratt Eyeliner. Did some nice, thick liner on the top. Let that dry.
Followed by my favorite Troy Surratt Eyelash Curler. Best eyelash curler ever. Fight me.
Another favorite! Two-Face Better Than Sex Mascara is so good guys. This makes your eye lashes look both thicker AND longer.
Next I applied the Lancôme Drama Liqui-Pencil in Paradise. It goes on like a liquid but dries like a pencil. Edged that underneath her eye.
I went over that with Fringe from the Urban Decay Electric Palette. SAD NEWS: this palette recently sold out. 😢 Have no fear. Amazing alternatives are their Born to Run Palette or their (limited addition!!) Elements Eyeshadow Palette.
I rubbed the electric greenish color along the whole lash line, then a little bit up past the outer corner of her eyes. The pencil was the base and this powder goes over to secure it.
Don’t worry if it’s a little messy! Use a wipe to create a cleaner edge.
On the bottom lashes, I use my little Surratt Relevée Mascara because a little brush is perfect for this.
Laura Mercier Foundation Primer all over - super hydrating.
Blot Cover FX Blotting Powder over that. I love this product because it’s not messy like most powders. Ugh. Messy powders. The worst.
Cover FX Gold Bar Highlighting Palette which I love.
Troy Surratt Blush, in Guimauve, on the cheeks.
Finally, I put some extra umph on the end of those eyelashes with Ardell 318 lashes.
Gotta go with my peeps at Kiehl’s!! Their Butter Stick is great and I used the color Naturally Nude. This hydrates as much as it looks fab. Love this one.
LOVE YA! Comment on the video to let me know what you think!
