Tracee Ellis Ross: Critic's Choice Awards Makeup
If you haven't seen the show Blackish, then you're really missing out. It's one of the funniest sitcoms out there right now!! It's hilarious and has a great through line. I love that I can watch the show with my entire family. I'm lucky enough to work with one of the show's stars, Tracee Ellis Ross. Last night I got her ready for The Critic's Choice Awards. I thought I would share this amazing look with you. Hope you guys enjoy it and try it out on yourself! More fun to come...
We started off using Skyn Face lift in a bag to start the skin off right.
I used Thrive Causemetics Infinity Waterproof Brow Pencil in Audrey and set the brow with Locked Coated Waterproof Invisible Lash Topcoat by Bare Minerals.
Next, I used Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base on the top lid then I placed Kevyn Aucoin loose shimmer shadow in Kunzite on the corner of the eyes and on the top lid.
I lined the top and lower lash line with Mac Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Feline as well as the lower and upper water rim. Tracee then used her hand to smudge the bottom liner out for a pulled out lower cat eye effect. She learned that trick from her mom, the amazing Diana Ross!
Next I went over the pencil with Prestige Liquid Eyeliner in Black.
I used two coats of Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes in Black.
With with duo glue in black, I finished the look with 116 Ardell lashes and one more coat of mascara.
I buffed ColourPop's Highlighter Blush in Santos (I also helped design this product!)
With an It Cosmetics dual brush, I buffed on Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation in 9 ,
Set the t-zone with Mac's Deep Peach Powder.
I finished off the look with Giorgio Armani lip maestro in 202 on her lips.
Check out the look I did for Kaley Cuoco and the Golden Globes!
