These Are The Vitamins Your Skin Needs!
Happy Monday! Today I’m sharing some of the essential vitamins that your skin needs to stay healthy! You hear me talking about how much water you should be drinking, but it is equally as important to nourish your body with vitamins daily.
Essential Vitamins For Your Skin:
Vitamin D!!! You typically absorb your daily dose of Vitamin D from the sun by spending just 10 minutes in the sun. You can also eat it in foods such as orange juice, salmon, tuna, and yogurt.
Vitamin C. This vitamin is crucial for your skin, it helps your skin to repair itself and also plays a huge role in your body's natural production of collagen. Get Vitamin C in foods such as strawberries, spinach, and broccoli.
Vitamin K helps your body heal from wounds or bruises and is great for under eye circles. We all hate those! Greens are a great source of this vitamin, eat your Kale!!!
Vitamin E protects your skin against sun damage. Remember always to wear sunscreen and also eat more nuts to increase levels of Vitamin E.
Ways To Get Your Vitamins:
Eat them in your foods. Pay attention to white fruits and vegetables to consume, being sure to get enough.
Take a multivitamin! This is a great way to ensure that you're meeting those recommended daily doses.
Apply them topically. I have included some awesome vitamin based serums, moisturizers, and more to apply to your skin!
